These engaging picture book read-aloud units are the perfect way to teach all of your reading standards throughout the year! Each 5-day read-aloud unit is based on a picture book and a specific reading standard. This year-long bundle will have everything you need: back-to-school units, seasonal units, and more!

You will need to obtain a copy of each of the books before beginning the unit. You should be able to find all of the books at your local library. You may also be able to find video read alouds on Youtube.

There are two instructional formats for these read-aloud units: flip books and interactive notebooks. Focusing on these two instructional formats will help create a strong routine during your reading block and consistency for students.

Teacher instructions are provided for assembling the flip books and 5 days of lesson plans are provided to support the use of all interactive notebook units.
