This test prep unit can be used to prepare for standardized tests or simply to review standards at the end of the year. All 3rd grade Next Generation Science Standards are covered.

- Unit Guide: See where each standard is covered in the unit and find helpful tips for how to use each resource.
- Engaging Vocabulary Stations: Make vocabulary review fun with our set of 12 stations! These stations cover vocabulary from all units and include interactive board games and fill-in-the-blank reading passages. Break them up across two days or spread them throughout the week for an engaging way to review key terms.
- Multiple-Choice Task Cards: This set of task cards is perfect for station work. Students will refer to figures or data to answer questions, mimicking the format of state assessments. We carefully designed these questions to allow students to practice critical thinking skills.
- Open Response Prompts: Challenge students’ science and writing skills with our set of four open response prompts. Each prompt includes accompanying data or figures. Sample paragraph responses are provided.
- Practice Test: Put it all together with our comprehensive practice test, incorporating both multiple-choice and open response question types. This will give students valuable practice and confidence.
