This 5-day project-based math resource applies math concepts in a real-world scenario to teach students about **multi-digit multiplication**. In this** 5-day unit**, students will multiply whole numbers of up to 4 digits by a one-digit number, or multiply two digits by two digits to design a candy store. This multiplication math project is engaging and authentic. Plus, it’s available as both a digital and print resource.

This project-based math resource covers concepts of multi-digit multiplication and is **aligned with the following 4th Grade Math Common Core State Standards:**

Multiply a whole number of up to four digits by a one-digit whole number, and multiply two two-digit numbers, using strategies based on place value and the properties of operations. Illustrate and explain the calculation by using equations, rectangular arrays, and/or area models.
