- Background Knowledge: Using a KWL, students will build background knowledge around planning a school carnival.
- Concepts of Rounding to the Nearest 10: Students will learn how to round to the nearest 10 and use this skill to determine the number of people who have RSVP’d to the school carnival.
- Concepts of Rounding to the Nearest 100: Students will learn how to round to the nearest 100 and choose items for the carnival’s goody bags.
- Concepts of Rounding on a Number Line: Students will learn how to round to the nearest 10 and the nearest 100 using a number line and choose activities for the school’s carnival.
