This project-based learning activity is perfect for teachers that want to teach a variety of science and ELA standards that is authentic and scaffolded for student success! Your students will learn about and apply research skills, main idea, cause & effect, explanatory writing, habitats and more during this PBL. It includes text about the the bee plight, teacher directions, and student pages to walk your students through their choice of end product to help bees in your local community. A pacing calendar is included, but it’s flexible in order to be easily molded to your classroom and school.
I suggest allowing for at least 10 days to complete this project-based learning activity.
