This PBL activity is perfect for the next Solar Eclipse! Your students will learn about and apply research skills, writing skill, science skills and more during this PBL. It includes text about solar eclipses and 5-10 days of activities. One STEM activity included (building a solar eclipse viewer).

I suggest allowing for at least 5 days to complete this project-based learning activity.

Driving Question: D.Q.: How can I plan a solar eclipse viewing party that is fun, but also teaches students about solar eclipses?

Your class has been tasked with planning a viewing party for the upcoming solar eclipse. Your principal wants you to plan events that lead up to an amazing eclipse viewing experience for your entire school. Learn as much as you can about the eclipse and plan an incredible viewing party!
