Gingerbread STEM: Creating Christmas Circuits

I’m always looking for ways to get students excited about science. This holiday STEM project is the perfect way to teach students about circuits using gingerbread houses and holiday lights!

Supplies

  • cardboard
  • lithium batteries (3V)
  • paper clips and binder clips
  • white paper
  • scissors
  • tape
  • copper tape
  • LED lights (variety pack)
  • square & rectangular gingerbread cookies/graham crackers
  • white icing
  • sprinkles, gumdrops, and other candy
